Description

Learn machine basics with a simple project. By the end of this class, students will understand:
* How to thread and set up a sewing machine
* How to measure, cut, and sew with correct seam allowances
* Pressing techniques that improve results
* Basic sewing machine control and stitching skills
* How to construct and assemble a fully lined dice bag

Required Supplies

Sewing Machines are not provided. Please bring your own to the workshop.
Fabric: cotton, linen, fleece or wool - students need an outer fabric and a lining, approx 50 x 50 cm for both
Ribbon or string
Pins
Seam ripper
Scissors
Thread (ideally the same colour as your fabric)

Cancellation Policy

A minimum of 3 students registered is required for the workshop to run. If this minimum is not met within 72 hours of the workshop date and time, registered students will be notified and either refunded the amount paid for the workshop OR they will automatically be registered for a rescheduled workshop at a later date.

If a student is unable to attend for any reason, 72 hours minimum notice is required to receive a refund. If notice is given less than 72 hours in advance, the workshop is non-refundable.
